Having the ability to be mobile can be hugely beneficial. Personally, I found this very helpful when my grandfather was in the hospital and I wanted to go visit. I just packed up my laptop, traveled to Pennsylvania and stayed at my mother’s house for two weeks. Portability is definitely a good thing in any business.

A transcription business is also an interesting one. Yes, you’re still typing every day, but the audio will never be the same from day to day. You get to listen to something new every day, and sometimes you even get to learn something new from your assignments. It’s never dull, that’s for sure.
