Using The Holidays To Increase Your Sales

The holiday season can be one of the busiest times of the year for your business. There are several things you can do to further increase your sales. Here are a few tips:

Send a mailing to your past customers: The people that have bought from you in the past are more likely to buy from you again. They are already familiar with you, your products and your services. Send your past customers a mailing, either email or snail mail and let them know about new products, specials, etc.

Get crafty: Lots of craft fairs are held in November and December. Check out your local paper and keep an eye out for any upcoming ones in your local area. If you have a product that would work well in a craft fair, contact the organizer and find out about renting a table or booth. These events are also held online – so don’t forget to search for some cyber fairs!

Join the party circuit: Take a note from the direct sales divas and have a party! Invite your friends and family and display your products. Maybe you can give a small presentation or demo. At the end of the party, take your guests orders. Offer to give them an incentive for hosting a party of their own. Have them invite their friends and family over and do the same demo for them, and again, encourage those guests to have a party and so on.

Hold various holiday sales and specials: Most people hold some kind of special holiday sale, but why not make the most of it and hold several of them? Each week during November and December, you can have a different product special or incentive. And don’t forget to have special sales the day after Thanksgiving!

These are just a few of the ways to increase sales during the holiday season. Use your imagination to come up with fun new ways of showcasing your products during this time of year. You’ll be increasing your sales and starting the new year with a hefty bank account.
