The prestigious list of the top 12 toys that the Toy Retailers Association thinks are a good buy for parents this Christmas has just been released. This article will give you a little bit of information about three of them – Ben 10 Alien Force Kevin Levin’s Action Cruiser, Gormiti Guardian Creatures from The Lords Of Nature Return and the Bladez Salvation 3D Helicopter with Flight Stick.

Ben 10 Alien Force – Kevin Levin’s Action Cruiser

The Ben 10 toy brand is huge and this year won the ‘Boys Range Of The Year’. Not surprisingly then, the top 12 boys toys this Christmas features a Ben 10 toy. The entry is the cool green car, the popular character Kevin Levin drives around in. It can transform into a battle mode vehicle and includes a 10cm Kevin action figure. It also features other fun stuff such as the ability to make planetary powder capsules that can be shot out. The only trouble with this Ben 10 toy is that it is not as durable as some of the other toys as parts do seem to fall off. This will not hinder your child’s enjoyment of this imaginary alien world, although you may be required to fix things back together from time to time.

Gormiti Guardian Creatures

Gormiti is an animated series, accompanying which is a large range of action figures. The series is about four children who discover an alternate dimension called Gorm, where creatures called Gormitis live. These Lords of Nature Return figure and creature sets include one 12cm tribal Lord figure and one creature to protect his Lord. Unlike most other Gormiti toys, both figures are creatures are articulated so can be posed in any number of positions. The creatures also possess an attack feature. There are four different sets to choose from including the three good Lords and the evil Magmion.

Bladez Salvation 3D Helicopter with Flight Stick

For any children out there who are mad on remote controlled vehicles, this innovative helicopter is a top buy. It gives the pilot full control of the helicopter via a joystick type controller called the Flight Stick. The helicopter can be flown indoors or outside and features a vibration control where your Flight Stick will vibrate more, the higher the helicopter flies. Both Flight Stick and Helicopter can be charged by your computer via a USB socket. On each charge it can fly for 8-9 minutes and has a range of 8 metres from the Flight Stick. The helicopter is supposed to be crash proof with its blades that fold up on impact.

So to avoid a gift disaster this Christmas, stick to one of the recommendations from the Toy Retailers Association, particularly one of the three toys detailed above.
