Why is Taking it Easy so Hard?
Written on November 30th, 2009 | 0 CommentsAs I meander through my days I talk to a lot of people and I often hear how hard things/life/etc. are, especially around this time of year as the holiday bustle approaches. It seems as if life can sometimes feel like on big chore and that the holidays, which are supposed to be restful and joyful, are just a whir of hassle and disappointed expectations. Full Article
Get Clear On What You Want
Written on November 18th, 2009 | 0 CommentsI feel like I talk about this all the time and today I wanted to give you some more specific steps for getting to that really juicy clarity that I want you to have. Since you attract what you put your focus on, the more clearly you can envision what you want, the more focused your energy can be. That means, you can be faster and more precise in your manifesting. And, of course, you can’t manifest what you want at all if you don’t know what it is that you want. Full Article
How Do You Feel?
Written on November 18th, 2009 | 0 CommentsAs someone who runs my business (and life) based on Law of Attraction principles, I get to spend a lot of time checking in with how I feel. There are many benefits to this practice which is why I am recommending it to you today. The more you check in with how you feel throughout your day, the more in tune you are with your inner landscape and outer progress. You have the opportunity in an instant to shift your energy if at any point in your day you find yourself not feeling as good as you want to. You also get direct feedback from your emotions on where you are in relation to your actions. What I mean by this is that if you decide to do something and you don’t feel great about it then it isn’t an inspired action and won’t result in the outcomes you are hoping for. If you experience this, simply focus your energy on thoughts of the outcomes you desire and the “right” actions will reveal themselves to you. You save time, energy and money by using your emotions to increase the likelihood of getting what you want. Full Article
It is What it Is – And Why That’s OK
Written on November 10th, 2009 | 0 Comments“It is what it is.” This is something my mother used to say often to forestall complaints about a situation not being as we wished it to be. It’s a mantra that I find very powerful. Accepting that everything and everyone in your life is, simply, exactly what it is, is a powerful perspective that allows you to escape the trap of “coulda, woulda, shoulda.” You don’t have to accept in the sense that you don’t make changes; simply accept that, in this moment, this is the situation. When you do this, you don’t have to waste time wishing things were different, complaining about how things are or wondering how you might have stopped it. All you have to do, is see (accept) what is, decide how you want things to be moving forward, and get on with your life. Simple. Full Article
How to Check In On What You’re Attracting
Written on November 10th, 2009 | 0 CommentsA recent question from a listener of my Art of Joyful Living radio show prompted this article. The question is: how do I stay on track throughout my day in terms of focusing on how I feel and what I truly want to manifest in my life? I love this question and it comes up often with my one on one clients, too. The key to changing a lifetime habit of default thinking is to become mindful (take notice of) what you are thinking on an ongoing basis. The more you do this, the more attuned you become to what you typically think so that you can choose to stick with those thoughts (if they’re working for you) or consciously choose to change them (if they’re not). As with learning any new habit, repetition is your secret to success. I use a variety of reminder techniques with my clients to help them “break into” their thoughts throughout their day so they can check in on what they are thinking and, consequently, what they are attracting. You can use these same simple techniques to revolutionize how you think. Full Article
Express Your Independence
Written on October 27th, 2009 | 0 CommentsOne of the best and easiest ways to express your independence is by learning to love and accept yourself more and to “get” that you have the power to manifest any kind of life you want. That is such a powerful concept. Full Article
Living Your Wealth in the Here and Now
Written on October 27th, 2009 | 0 CommentsAs this week’s quotation from the book Daily OM says, “sages of all faiths agree that the current moment is the only thing that really exists.” This is a concept I share with all my clients because it is from our focus on the present moment that we are able to live abundantly and prosperously – no mater what our current circumstances. This is an important point in the Law of Attraction as well as a key aspect of creating effortless success. Why? Let’s start with what happens when we focus on the past. When we focus on the past we can only think, create and act from what we have known. Unless what we have known is abundance and prosperity, then we will only be able to create more of what we have known in the past. What is that for you? If you are excited about the thought of living your wealth in the here and now, then my guess is you have not yet experienced amazing prosperity and abundance. As Albert Einstein said, “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” If your focus is on what you have had in the past, you will only be capable of creating more of the same. Who Do You Think You Are?

The more you understand your authentic vision for yourself, the more successful you will be and the more effortless it will feel. Full Article
Taking the Path of Least Resistance
Written on September 28th, 2009 | 0 CommentsOne of the things I work with my clients on is creating and implementing systems that automate and simplify getting things done. This creates consistency in your message as well as frees up your time for the BIG thoughts and fun times. The biggest obstacles I encounter when introducing this concept to people is their own resistance to letting go of control. Letting go is an act of faith. Have the confidence in your support team, your technology and yourself to allow others to have a hand in making your life a BIG EASY success. Here are a few ideas to get you started. Full Article

I truly believe that you are glorious and amazingly talented so keep that in mind as you contemplate what is possible for you. Here are a couple of questions to get your possibility juices flowing… Full Article
Self-Care
Written on September 4th, 2009 | 0 CommentsWhen you are creating effortless success, it’s important that you learn to take extremely good care of yourself – physically, mentally and spiritually – and to always put your best interests first. There is a good reason why airlines instruct passengers who travel with small children to put their own oxygen mask on in an emergency and only then put a mask on the child. It may seem counter-instinctual since we are all conditioned by evolution and culture to risk our own life to save the life of a small child. This is a good and natural instinct as it helps to ensure the continuation of our species. That is the bigger picture. In the smaller, more immediate picture, it is in both your best interest and that of the child for you to put your own oxygen mask on first. Why? Imagine that you followed your natural instinct and put the oxygen mask on your two-year old son first before attempting to fasten your own. Before you can attend to your mask, the lack of oxygen overcomes you and you pass out. Now, you have no mask and your child has no one to comfort and continue to look after him. Imagine instead, that you first put on your mask, and then put an oxygen mask on your son. If he has passed out the oxygen will revive him and now you are both conscious and your child has you to continue to comfort and protect him during the emergency. Full Article
The Zen of Ease
Written on August 20th, 2009 | 0 CommentsOne day someone in one of my mastermind groups told me she thought of me as the “Queen of Ease” which I absolutely loved (and may continue to use as my alter ego) since my mission in life is to help the woman entrepreneur have more time and energy for herself AND more money and success in her business – AND do this all in a way that feels effortless! Planning & Goal Setting
Written on August 10th, 2009 | 0 CommentsHow can you achieve your goals without a plan? Most people know what they want but have no plan to achieve it except by sheer hard work. Your yearly plan should be reviewed daily and reset as your achievements are met. Successful people make lists constantly. It enables them to stay on top of priorities and remain flexible to changing priorities. This should be done for both personal and business goals. Full Article
Your Community of Success
Written on July 31st, 2009 | 0 CommentsResearch has shown that we are the average of the five people with whom we spend the most time. Your income is likely around the average of their five incomes. Your level of personal and professional success is also likely around the average of their combined personal and professional success. That’s a great piece of information to have. My mother used to always say, “birds of a feather flock together.” Parents often tell their children that they will be judged by adults primarily based on the group of friends they have. This is part of being social creatures. We often seek out others like us, usually consciously but sometimes unconsciously. Think about the people with whom you spend the most time, even expand the number out from five to 10, 15, 20, etc. What are they like? How do you feel when you are with them? When you aren’t with them? Do they inspire you? Do they support your dreams? Do they encourage you to go after what you want? Full Article
Commitment: Your First Step in ANY Successful Endeavor
Written on June 29th, 2009 | 0 CommentsWhenever you embark on a project, relationship, action, etc.., first ask yourself, on a scale of 1 to 10, what is my level of commitment to the success of this project, relationship, action, etc.? If the answer is less than level 10 commitment, you simply aren’t committed enough to success to make getting started worthwhile. That doesn’t mean that your plan isn’t viable and isn’t a great idea, it simply means you aren’t ready YET to get started. What do you do? Say, for example, that you’ve assessed your current level of commitment as a 7. Ask yourself, what do you need to do/have/believe in order to raise that 7 to a 10 (or you can go from 7 to 8, from 8 to 9 and then from 9 to 10). Keep doing what you need to do to get your commitment level up to 10 even if it’s simply to sit with the idea for a while without taking any interim action. If you can’t get to 10, ask yourself why you thought you wanted this project, relationship, etc. Perhaps you only think you “should” do this to succeed but it isn’t the right thing for you or now is not the right time. How To Take Inspired Action
Written on May 29th, 2009 | 0 CommentsI often write about the role of focus and vision in manifesting your dreams of effortless success. I know that folks are so often anxious to take action – and I’m all for taking action, even MASSIVE action – BUT (and I know all my clients know I usually forbid the use of the word “but”) BUT, action ONLY works when it comes from a place of focus and vision. Your Prosperity Bill of Rights
Written on May 14th, 2009 | 0 CommentsSometimes I get frustrated with all of the negativity around the economy that is out there these days. I look around and I see so many people doing extremely well despite what is said. The most important thing you can do to insulate yourself from the negative impact of doom-mongers is to avoid their messages all together. This isn’t to say that there aren’t people struggling in these times, however, if you aren’t one of them, even if you’ve had to tighten your belt a bit, you really don’t have it as bad as the media and other naysayers would have you believe. Focus on Deliberate Creation Through Active Thought Processes
Written on April 10th, 2009 | 0 CommentsThere’s a balance that you want to strike between thinking and acting. Thinking comes first as you need to know what you want and why you want it in order to effectively go out there and get it. This article shares some ways for you to think AND create at the same time. Think of your actions as flowing from your thoughts and emotions. They are not separate entities at all. Following are what I call Active Thought Processes that help you to really “get” how you can create the life of your dreams with your thoughts and emotions. It really can be, as Abraham says, “as easy to create a castle as a button.” Full Article
