To be successful in your business niche, you can either do it the long way… OR use shortcuts to achieve your goals. When you opt for the latter, the shortest way to get there is to focus on your loyal customers. Yes. There’s a gold mine in them current customers. Harrrrr! Instead of attracting new leads with your marketing brochures and other advertising collaterals, you’ll definitely get a rise out of the sales from the customers that are already converted to your belief. In short, there’s profit to be had with your loyal customers. Actually, it’s not very difficult to understand the principle behind generating loyal customers. Current customers who are delighted and satisfied with your product or service would be very easy to entice to buy again. You don’t need to convince them anymore because you’ve already won them over the first time. All you got to do is to get them back and have them purchase some more. When you are able to entice your current clients to come back and do repeat business with you, then you’ll be able to increase your sales dramatically. Here are a few tricks for instant sales boost: 1 – Incentive program to boost sales! Incentives work…a lot. So give your loyal customers incentives to buy from you again. They would probably be excited to purchase another product if they know that they can get a great reward for it. 2 – Upsell to boost sales! It’s not just adding a related product to your offer to get immediate sale. Upselling lets you to demonstrate to your clients the importance of your product while convincing them of the benefits. Of course, you make it convenient and easy for your clients to decide that they can’t do without your product or service. 3 – Offer the inside scoop to boost sales! I remember one time when I was shopping at a discount store for house decorations. I was so pleased with the discounted price of the items that I was hoarding as many merchandise as possible. A salesperson saw me doing this and proceeded to tell me that they are having a bigger sale the next day being it Christmas and all. Sure enough! Even before they open their doors, I was already the first lined up to hoard some more. Talk about massive shopping spree! 4 – Treat your customers differently to boost sales! Not all customers are created equal. There are definitely those that you can group as regulars and those that can be classified as “others”. Regular and loyal customers expect to have a different kind of treatment because they have been contributing to your increased sales since. Giving value to your loyal ones would give you more sales than you can ever imagine. Generating new leads in your marketing campaign (e.g. catalogs, brochure printing pieces, and flyers) can provide you with the possibility of growth. But investing on your current customers can give you a different high – a greater increase in sales.
