Planning a healthy lunch for a child is a delicate balancing act. Using the new USDA Mypyramid as a guide, nutritionists want to insure the foods we make for children are within the government recommended guidelines for child health.

Unfortunately, a steady diet of McDonalds’s will wreck our health and the health of our children. Mealtime can be fun at home. In addition meals prepared by the loving hand of Mom will provide the nutrients that children need to grow.
